Commonwealth Games Travel Information

If you are visiting one of our clinics at Coomera, Southport or Palm Beach over the Commonwealth Games period please read the following information.
The Commonwealth Games will be held on the Gold Coast from the 4th April to the 15th April 2018. We are expecting busier than usual traffic and difficulty parking during this time.

Coomera Clinic
Our Coomera Clinic should have ample parking as it is located within a shopping centre.
Driving to the clinic along the M1 will have some congestion - please allow extra time for travel.
Please contact admin on 07 5526 4066 if running significantly late - however all patients will be seen, no matter what time their appointment was.
Southport Clinic
Our Southport Clinic will have restricted parking as it is located within the Games Route Network - please consider having a family or friend drop you off for your appointment over this time. There will be parking underneath Southport Central, however this may be busier than usual. Please call our admin on 07 5526 4066 if any issues on the day as we will be able to assist you further.
Driving to the clinic will be busier than usual. We have opened up our clinics for early morning sessions if this time is more preferable as it will be quieter on the roads. Please allow an additional 1 hour travel time to your appointment.
We know that travel times may mean you are either early or late to your appointment and so we have added extra support over this time to allow for any problems. Please don't worry, arrive when you can and you will be seen. Call our admin team on 07 5526 4066 if any concerns.

Palm Beach Clinic
Our Palm Beach Clinic should have street parking available as usual. It could be busy and if possible enlisting a friend or family member to drop you off may be preferable. If parking becomes an issue, we will be able to reserve our staff park for patient use.
Driving to the clinic on the M1 will be busier than usual. We have planned our clinic openings and closures so that they will not be scheduled on the allocated Currumbin Beach event days. Allow extra travel time however we will have extra therapy support to help with any problems that occur. Please don't worry, arrive when you can and you will be seen.
