Active Hand Therapy is very proud to be involved with Bond University for another year. 

We are very proud to be presenting our Bond University splinting workshops for another year. This hands-on course is run in our purpose built education spaces both at Southport and Palm Beach. It allows Occupational and Physiotherapy students an introduction into the techniques used in splinting. We enourage the students to get down and dirty with multiple splints made on the day with lots of support from one of our senior Hand Therapist's, David Coles. We focus on:

• Utilisation of splinting templates
• Basic hand anatomy
• Properities of thermoplastic materials
• Creating orthosis
• Basic scar and oedema management

The students leave with a very positive experience at the off-campus day at Active Hand Therapy.

We are also a Student Placement Provider.
