With the Gold Coast Titans run ending in a cliffhanger and finals footy getting down to the wire - we have been busy treating and supporting the Titans again this year. 

The Gold Coast Titans have had a cracking final end to the season. With the team scraping into the final eight with a 44 to 0 win against the Warriors. Then to finish in one of the most exciting and devastating games I've watched in years (I still can't talk about it), sadly the season is over. We are very optimistic for next year. 

We have loved continuing our role as Hand Therapist to the Titans. In many sports, hand and wrist injuries are a common outcome of competitive sport. Rugby is no exception and you will often see the players with game day splints, tape, wrist guards and finger splints on during the game. At Active Hand Therapy we have many passionate sports enthusiasts with our therapists having played competitive cricket, basketball, AFL, gymnastics, dance, tennis and many other social sports. Our goal is to tweak splints, tailor exercises and get you back playing sport sooner than you think. 

We can review X-rays and tailor splints for training, game day and more importantly assess the limits of when you can resume playing safely. Simple exercises can also strengthen the area preventing further injuries. We have a great network of surgeons, doctors, physios and other health professionals which means you get better service, faster.

We regularly see children with fractures from Saturday netball and other sports!
